Education: BS in Organizational Leadership at Quinnipiac University and currently studying for her Master's Degree in Nutrition

Carolyn Phillips opened Fit Behavior 12 years ago. To achieve success with clients, Carolyn combines her former competitive background as a national level competitor in body building, mountain biking, volley ball, and gymnastics. She opened Fit Behavior because she believed that people would love a quiet, private place to work out where the trainers would focus on YOU. Custom programming, excellent customer service, and unique approaches to fitness are a focus that Carolyn strives for at Fit Behavior.

Carolyn is featured on WFSB Channel 3's Better CT television program and on 96.5 TIC FM's Damon Scott radio show as the weekly fitness expert.



Trenair Faulkner

Trenair Faulkner, CPT (Certified Personal Trainer)

Accreditation/Certification: American Fitness Professional of America, Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA)

Education: B.S. in Psychology and currently enrolled in M.B.A. Program

Trenair Faulkner is a vibrant and ambitious certified trainer. She is highly motivated and eager to help clients reach their fitness goals. She lives by the motto "No Challenge, No Change". In other words, If you want to be fit you must start challenging your body with a cardio and resistance training program. It is her natural connection with people that truly sets her apart. Her ability to translate a person's positive and negative emotions into a customized workout is her forte. Trenair's goal is to help clients experience a transformation in both the body and mind.



Kate Cascio

Kate Cascio, CPT (Certified Personal Trainer)

Accreditation/Certification: The World Instructor Training Schools (W.I.T.S.)

Kate's passion for exercise and love of working with people inspired her to get into the field of personal training. Although she didn't discover exercise as a way of life until adulthood, she now knows what a difference an active lifestyle can make in one's life.

Kate enjoys weightlifting and pilates, but her passion is running. She has placed in many competitive races and enjoys challenging herself with her distance running.

Kate's goal as a trainer is to motivate her clients to living healthy and help them discover how exercise can transform not only their body but their mind as well.



Cindy Briggs

Cindy Briggs, Certified Fitness Instructor

Accreditation/Certification: Zumba Level 1, Les Mills Body Combat, Les Mills Body Pump, Reebok Cycling, Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA)

Education: MS in Health Sciences, BA in Microbiology

Cindy says there is an athlete in every one of us. She believes fitness needs to be a priority in life, and aspires to make fitness fun and accessible for everyone.

Cindy is a former Collegiate, National, and World Champion in rowing, and has competed internationally representing the United States. She enjoys road biking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, and weight lifting.



Trish Salafia

Trish Salafia, Certified Fitness Instructor

Certification: Spinstorm Cycling Certification

Education: BS in Elementary/Middle School Education, 5th-Year Degree in Education

As a school teacher and someone who has always been active, Trish decided to combine her love of fitness with her love for teaching and became a fitness instructor ten years ago. Her teaching style promises a challenging cardiovascular workout that incorporates interval training.

Trish's goal is to provide an awesome workout in a fun and motivating environment.



Keiko Broyles

Keiko Broyles, Zumba Instructor

Accreditation/Certification: Zumba Level 1, Zumba Level 2

Spunky and light-hearted, Keiko delivers Zumba with high energy. Each class is a fun and lively experience. Her class participants have ranged in age from 14 to 60+ and have come from all backgrounds. She sees Zumba as a total fitness package that works for weight loss, toning muscle, enhancing vitality and general well being.

Keiko goes by the motto that her mentor once taught her: "Unlock your mind, so you can unlock your body." She believes everybody can Zumba. Everyone walks away refreshed and happy, so come join the fun!



Mary Taylor

Mary Taylor, Zumba Instructor

When Mary hits the floor, the party begins; her Zumba classes are charged with high energy, motivating words, and a lot of love. Every class takes you to a higher level, nothing remains the same. Her positive outlook on life is shared with her classes which cover ages 8 to 75. Zumba has transformed the standard way of exercising into lots of laugher, self assurance, and uplifting self esteem.

Mary encourages each participant to believe in themselves and to find the beauty within. Not only will it help them to enjoy life now, but the benefits will last into the future as well.



Nancy Dee

Nancy Dee, Zumba Instructor

Accreditation/Certification: Zumba Instructor and in training for AFFA and AFFA Group Instruction

You'll fall in love with Nancy's sense of humor and fun filled personality. She may be short and sweet, but her sparkling energy will fire you up! The love and passion she has for life, really shines through in her Zumba classes. She also specializes in personal training.

Nancy enjoys helping people reach their goals no matter what obstacles are encountered. She will motivate and help you succeed! So live to love and Zumba Zumba Zumba!
